A suggestion regarding the end of the world

People who think about how the world is ending often ask how to deal with the fact that the world is ending. A suggestion, take it or leave it: think of the spirit of the song "A Walk to Caesarea" by Hannah Szenes (pronounced "Khah-nah Seh-nesh").

You can find background, the Hebrew text, and a translation at the wiki page.

My attempt at a literal translation:

My El, my El,
That it will not finish, to eternity:
the sand and the sea,
water's rshrsh,
flash of the heavens,
prayer of man.
